Community Walks

Our Community Walks are regularly occurring strolls through local Seattle parks, and are led by graduate students from the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington.

Come join us, and learn about the local geology, including the history of faults, glaciers (see figure to the right), landslides, and rock layers (see figure below) that shaped and continue to shape the landscape of the Seattle area.
