Students learn about what science going on in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the
University of Washington. School groups often tour the Isolab (ice cores, isotope geochemistry,
instrument analysis), the Seismolab (earthquake monitoring in the PNW), and the
geomicrobiology lab (microbes, geochemistry experiments).
